As both a Researcher and Associate at Marlin Hawk you will specialise in senior appointments across a broad range of sectors to include Business & Professional Services, Consumer, Financial Services, Healthcare, Media, Entertainment & Sprorts and Private Equity.

You will be involved in the delivery of C-level executive search and strategic consulting assignments. As a highly motivated and proactive individual your key responsibilities would include:

Sourcing candidates: identify a longlist of candidates via desk research and networks, make the initial contact and assess which candidates should progress to interview.

Selecting candidates: along with the Partner leading the search, conducting face-to-face candidate interviews and define a shortlist. Taking ownership of the candidate management process.

Managing projects: attend client briefings, capture any data pertinent to the search, keep accurate records updating the internal database on an ongoing basis.

Producing documentation: create the initial briefing pack, regular update reports and the final project document, retaining the highest standard of quality throughout.


As a Researcher you will primarily support senior team members in a variety of activities to include pre-screening of candidates, capturing and maintaining accurate records related to team assignments, conducting telephone interviews with candidates and producing draft documentation under supervision. You will also shadow senior colleagues to build experience in client facing situations.


As an Associate in Executive Search you will be responsible for independently pre-screening candidates as well as overseeing the recording of all internal team records to ensure our database is up to date. Alongside Client Partners you will conduct face to face candidate interviews and be responsible for managing a selection of assignments independently. You will have developed a level of commercial knowledge to be able to evaluate market intelligence and proactively identify new client and candidate leads.
