The role will not only ensure products and services are tested extensively and are fit for public and commercial release, but lead a step changing in integration and testing best practise.
The successful candidate must have led a QA function and possess a deep understanding of the science of QA. They need to be able to converse at all levels of business, sustain key business relationships, and have a passion for execution and an adherence to detail. The ideal candidate will have been involved in a major transformation within a technical engineering group, and have experience in both onshore and offshore development, including outsourced teams.
The role requires the candidate to have an extensive knowledge of the capture and acceptance of functional and non-functional testing requirements, and exposure to end-to-end product development. In addition, it is essential that they have led teams in excess of 100 people and exposure of working in a complex multi-sourced environment is useful.
