As Head of Commercial IT, you will be responsible for:
- Taking Responsibility for the Vendor relationships and the procurement of IT services and associated relevant technologies.
- To provide capability to grow and manage existing and new 3rd party suppliers in order to support the growing changing requirements of the business.
- To work with the strategy team and procurement to develop a commercially lead sourcing strategy.
- To manage all aspects of outsourced relationships, contracts and 3rd party suppliers relevant to infrastructure and service delivery across the business.
- To drive process efficiency and structure, and set new strategy and standards in business service level offerings.
Necessary skills and background:
- Proven track record of success in developing strategic supplier relationship across a complex range of IT products and services.
- Experience of supply chain management and procurement of IT products and services.
- Understand the cost competiveness of key suppliers
- Ability to demonstrate commercial influence and negotiation skills at senior stakeholder and board levels.
- Experience of introducing best practice, building and managing relationships with 3rd parties to ensure the very latest thinking is being considered.
- Financial Services experience is preferred.
