In this role you will:

  • Own the PnL for the newly established online division covering the key markets that include; UK, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and France.
  • Work in close co-operation with the country CFOs (peer-to-peer level) on all financial aspects (given that most of the 'doing' is their responsibility).
  • Establish and manage the; management accounting, budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, revenue management and the KPI's for the different regions.
  • Ensure measurement tools are in place to manage, record and assess performance against business KPI's and forecasts.
  • Be responsible for Capex planning and project related profitability analysis.
  • Manage the relations with the Technology function to ensure the accounting systems (SAP and Cognos) are aligned to account, process and report for the new division.
  • Manage cash in terms of tactical cash measures, credit controls and strategic cash management, i.e. the design of the business models and processes to optimize cash flow.
  • Establish and manage Service Level Agreements (SLA's) between the various tour operators and other product suppliers (both internal and external) and the central E-Commerce division, across the regions.
  • Establish a stable, informational intense finance function that fully supports the Heads of Functions, Management team and Board (using dashboards, analytical performance measurement tools and clear concise management reports).
  • Monitor and measure trading performance.
  • Various ad-hoc financial and strategic projects.
  • Make regular presentations.
  • Be part of the Group CFO’s Finance board and hence will be involved in all finance decisions of the group in which e-commerce will play a central role.
