Description:
  • Direct and control the W&I IT Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) organisation through effective financial control, ensuring that business targets are met and that the under- or over-recovery of costs is appropriately controlled. Design and manage the transformation and migration of services from current W&I business aligned IT model into Group IT industrial model.
  • Develop approaches that keep the W&I businesses abreast of technological innovations that will support the broader Business agenda and facilitate the delivery of existing strategic programmes
  • Initiate, direct and control the commercial focus of all activities undertaken by W&I IT ADM, developing a culture of rigorous cost control, re-use, measurement and continuously improving performance, ensuring that value is continuously being delivered to all of our customers
  • Lead, motivate, develop and appraise team members so that their individual and collective performance is of the required standard and meets the current and future needs of the business, recognising and developing the future leaders of Group IT, whilst driving culture, behavioural and business change initiatives necessary to ensure the implementation and exploitation of change
