Description:
  • Work with key Service Delivery stakeholders to emphasise infrastructure issues and achieve consensus agreement to the infrastructure architecture vision.  Be the principal advisor to the Chief Technology Officer on enterprise infrastructure architecture matters.
  • Monitor technology developments to ensure that the organisation is effectively positioned to respond to and leverage opportunities that enhance competitive position through the effective application of Infrastructure technologies to the business.
  • Ensure that processes are in place such that all architectures developed align to the Group’s infrastructure policies and standards Report key architecture decisions and implications, themes and trends to the Group architectural governance committees.
  • Contribute to managing and maintaining vendor relationships, evaluating usefulness and cost of products and making appropriate recommendations. Maintain an awareness of the capability and suitability of suppliers to assist in execution of the enterprise infrastructure architecture, providing recommendations as appropriate.
