Marlin Hawk's Front Office Trading Practice

Marlin Hawk the Executive Search firm has appointed David Rose to spearhead the development of our new Front Office Division, working closely with the existing wholesale financial markets franchise.

Having graduated in Business Studies, David began his career in the financial markets, initially in commodities, before becoming a trader in Foreign Exchange and Interest Rates for a number of international banks working both in London and the US.

Having progressed to running a number of profitable teams, David re-located to Singapore as Head of FX Sales and Trading for NationsBank in the Asian region, gaining wider experience of management and fostering strategic client relationships.

Upon returning to London, he pursued a career in FX sales to investor clients developing close contacts with the hedge fund community in the UK, USA and Switzerland.

He moved into search five years ago, to join the team at PSL. David was able to use his wide market experience together with retained search methodology to build a successful practice and form strong relationships with leading market participants from the banking world along with buy-side clients. He originated high level searches for senior investment banking roles in London, New York and Europe and also instigated and developed an e-Commerce business alongside the traditional FX model.
