How we are different

People

From the moment we set up in business with a mission to break the mould, we have applied the same approach to hiring our own people as we do for our clients. Will they grow with us, and bring new ideas to the table? Do they share our beliefs, ethics and ambitions? Will their character fit our culture? Do our plans meet their aspirations? Do their abilities match our plans? Could they be Marlin Hawk's leaders of tomorrow? With these yardsticks we've gathered together a committed and creative group of professionals, led by a team of Directors with deep expertise and broad strategic vision in the consumer and financial services markets.

Processes

We've ditched a lot of the traditional search and selection methods and designed new techniques and tools from end to end. They help us define and challenge the brief, validate the feasibility of the role and bring new potential candidate pools onto the search radar.  For example, calibrating the role profile early in the process through the introduction of a "benchmark candidate" is a unique concept that can either fine-tune the search or completely change the strategy, in one recent case saving the client £400K pa in salary costs after they realised two roles could be combined into one.

Passion

Yes, it's a cliché, but we can't think of a better word to describe the enthusiasm in this company and the belief that we really have blazed a new trail. The strength of our relationships with our clients, and the sense of mutual trust, keeps the passion alive.

Reach

We know our markets inside out. We have the networks, the knowledge and the techniques to connect with the very best talents. We have deep experience of managing successful international searches across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, targeting candidates with the skills to deliver local, regional and global solutions.
